Laboratory as a place to carry out experiment in school is very important to enhance the quality of science learning. To optimise its utilisation, it is compulsory for a school to appoint a head of science laboratory whose responsibility is to design and manage the science laboratory. One of the requirements for the teacher to be appointed as the Head of Science Laboratory is to complete and pass the three stages of Head of Laboratory Candidates Training (the first In Service, On the Job Learning and the second In Service).
