Secretariat conducted the SEAMEO Congress 2021 on 28 \u2013 29 April 2021 virtually. The SEAMEO Congress served as a platform for the policymakers, teachers, researchers, and educators to exchange effective policy, fruitful teaching experience and shared new learning paradigms and practices in the digital age. It aimed to provide a platform for conversations on innovations, breakthroughs and best practices in Education, Science and Culture to achieve SDG4 2030; to examine sustainable development platforms, networking and strategic collaboration among education actors and stakeholders in Southeast Asia and beyond for enhancing the quality of learning and ensuring more comprehensive access and relevance of education in the region; and to build a consensus reflecting and concretising transformative educational programmes and action plans towards the development of a dynamic synergy of strengths, strategies and standards leading to the application of more inclusive and innovative learning paradigms and education policies to meet global standards.<\/p>\n<p>SEAQIS, as one of the SEAMEO Centres, participated in the events in several activities. Dr Indrawati was one of the presenters in the SEAMEO Centre presentation session. She presented Training on Computational Thinking Integration in Science Learning: A SEAQIS&#8217; programme in adopting the 21st-century Curriculum. In her presentation, she discussed one of SEAQIS flagship programmes, the Computational Thinking training.<\/p>\n<p>Not only represented by its director, Mr Lukman Nulhakim, the head of ICT, Data, and Evaluation Division, represented SEAQIS in this Congress. He was one of the speakers in session G, talking about teaching innovation and research. In addition, he presented STEM Teaching Material Development: A Smart Face Shield Project. \u00a0Besides being presenters, SEAQIS were also represented by Mr Reza Setiawan, the Deputy Director for Programme, as the moderator at Session H, discussing research on digital learning.<\/p>\n<p>In this event, SEAQIS also participated in a virtual exhibition. In the booth, flyers of flagship programmes, company profiles, publication, and the Ki Hajar Dewantara Award were displayed. Besides, the exhibition team was also received visitors from several institutions.
