title=\"DSC03601\">Preview<\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<p>SEAMEO QITEP in Science (SEAQIS) proudly led the Indonesian delegation to the 9th Belt and Road Teenager Maker Camp &amp; Teacher Workshop, held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, from 10 to 15 June 2025. This prestigious event was organised by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the Sichuan Provincial Government.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s camp brought together more than 200 students and teachers from nearly 30 countries, engaging them in a series of thematic activities under the banner \u201cEngineering Builds a Better Future.\u201d The participants explored Sichuan\u2019s innovation ecosystem through scientific visits to institutions such as Sichuan University and the Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, as well as cultural sites including the Dujiangyan Irrigation Project and the Chengdu Museum. The programme also featured cultural exchanges, maker activities, and international collaboration sessions.<\/p>\n<p>The Indonesian delegation was coordinated by Mr Rizwan Darmawan, Head of the Partnership and Publication Division at SEAQIS. The team included Ms Sofi Aristya Hanifa, a science teacher from SMP Darul Ulum 1 Peterongan, and five selected students from East Java:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Firzah Rachmatillah, SMA Darul Ulum 1 Unggulan Peterongan<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Muhammad Luthfi Aziz, SMA Darul Ulum 1 Unggulan Peterongan<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Intan Putri Dian Iswanto, SMA Darul Ulum 2 Unggulan BPPT<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Farrel Muhammad Asyam Kurniawan, MA Unggulan Darul Ulum Rejoso<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Nacha Awangga Putra, MAN 2 Jombang<\/p>\n<p>SEAQIS\u2019 participation in this global programme reflects its continuous commitment to connecting Southeast Asian educators and learners with international science education opportunities.
