to\u00a0identify\u00a0potential areas of partnership in strengthening\u00a0STEM\u00a0education at regional and global levels.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">During the\u00a0meeting, SEAQIS\u00a0presented\u00a0its STEM\u00a0programme, focusing on strengthening teacher capacity, developing learning resources, and\u00a0promoting\u00a0innovation in science education across the region through various training, conferences, and regional initiatives. In line with this,\u00a0the\u00a0Section for Basic Science, Research, Innovation, and\u00a0Engineering, UNESCO\u00a0shared\u00a0its global\u00a0initiatives\u00a0connecting science clubs worldwide to promote hands-on STEM learning,\u00a0emphasising\u00a0youth engagement, capacity building, and access to resources through\u00a0digital\u00a0platforms, training programmes, mentorship, and international collaboration.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Both\u00a0parties\u00a0highlighted their\u00a0commitment to\u00a0advancing STEM education through capacity building, resource development, and collaborative learning.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:true,&quot;134233118&quot;:true,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Building on this alignment, SEAQIS and UNESCO explored several potential areas for collaboration.\u00a0SEAQIS\u00a0expressed its readiness to support the development of UNESCO\u2019s digital learning platform\u00a0by contributing a range of learning\u00a0resources and knowledge products that have been developed\u00a0through its programmes.\u00a0In addition,\u00a0SEAQIS conveyed its commitment to supporting the implementation and expansion of the UNESCO Science Clubs Network, particularly in strengthening its presence across the Southeast Asian region.
