SEAMEO QITEP in Science in collaboration with the Local Education Office\u00a0of Aceh Jaya Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia and Lower Secondary Science Teacher Cluster\u00a0of Aceh Jaya accomplished Workshop on Strengthening the Use of School’s Science Laboratory.\u00a0The activity lasted 25 to August 28, 2015, in SMP Negeri 1 Calang.<\/p>\n

In the workshop the participants were\u00a0strengthened\u00a0their the concept on\u00a0science materials, safety in the science lab, making simple science teaching aids and enhancing\u00a0practical utilization of available science instruments in school laboratory. A total of 39 lower secondary school science teachers of Aceh Jaya were involved in this event. They were very enthusiastic in joining the programmes\u00a0and felt the activities were very useful in developing science learning. The event was\u00a0opened and closed by the High Official of Education Officials of Aceh Jaya and Dr. Indarjani, Deputy Director for Programme SEAMEO QITEP in Science.<\/p>\n
