The Ki Hajar Dewantara Award is the initiative of the SEAMEO QITEP in Science to honour and appreciate science teachers who have dedicated their lives and efforts to bring science teaching and learning processes up to the excellent level.<\/p>\n
After tight selection by the board of jurors, Mrs Lee Saw Im, the chemistry teacher from SMA Seri Bintang Utara, Malaysia has been chosen as the best science teacher in the Southeast Asian region who was then awarded the Ki Hajar Dewantara Award.\u00a0 She received the Ki Hajar Dewantara Plague, Certificate, and USD 5000 professional development fund.<\/p>\n
