SEAQIS had warmly welcomed SMP Al-Fityan Tangerang for their outing class programme on Friday, 2 February 2024. 125 participants, consisting of students, teachers, and the principal, attended this event. SEAQIS team represented by Mr Zuhe Safitra (Deputy Director for Administration) and Ms Lintang Ratri Prastika (Partnership and Publication Head of Division), as well as Mr Gunawan Imanda (Principal of SMP Al-Fityan Tangerang) gave the opening speech before they proceeded to the main agenda.
The intention of this visit was to directly learn about STEM from SEAQIS experts, so that they could participate in reinforcing and promoting science education. The students participated in STEM practice and were divided into five classes with three different topics: creating holograms, paper boats, and eco-cars. They were enthusiastic and enjoyed completing the tasks given within three hours.
Both parties wished this event could have a positive impact on enhancing students’ skills in science. At the end, SEAQIS appreciated all students and teachers from SMP Al-Fityan Tangerang who had fully participated in the STEM learning.
