QITEP in Science Welcomes the New Director
Happy New Year!

The directorship of the Centre was vacant since the appointment of Prof. Ismunandar as the attaché of education and culture for Indonesian Embassy in Singapore. He is then replaced by other fellow lecturer from Bandung Institute of Technology, Dr. Triyanta. Starting from January 2015, Prof. Dr. Triyanta commences his term at the helm. Now, with the new director, the Centre is expected to continue its successful years under the previous director in taking part in the competence improvement of science teachers and education personnel in Southeast Asia.

Alongside the presence of the new director, in the beginning of 2015, some staffs are reassigned back to the host Institution, CDETEP in Science. They are Mr Kandi, former head of ICT and Network Division; Ms Atik Rahmawati, former head of Public Relations, Partnership and Marketing Division; Mr Apep Nurjaman, staff of ICT and Network Division; and Mr Enang Sumarna, staff of Personnel, Finance and Infrastructure Division. The Centre would like to extend deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation for the services they provided for the Centre.

More becoming faces are assigned to take charge at SEAMEO QITEP in Science. There will also be more initiatives and programmes for teachers and education personnel in SEAMEO member countries. More faces, new ideas, new innovations for a better SEAMEO QITEP in Science.
