Mr. Reza Setiawan, the Head Division for Programme and Training of SEAMEO QITEP in Science was awarded for the Spring Short Course for Science, Technology and Innovation Policy 2013 in Tokyo Japan from the 11th to 14th March 2013.
This programme was organized by Japan’s National Institute for Science and Technology Policy (NISTEP) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport, Science, and Technology (MEXT) and participated by 12 researchers and officials from 11 SEAMEO Centres
The purpose was to provide young researchers an opportunity to learn the basic of science, technology, and innovation policy research. It focused mainly in Foresighting, a method used to build long-term policies to enables a nation to get in line with the rapid change of human knowledge and technology development and also to cope with the environmental challenge.
