To finalise its 2014 training program, SEAMEO QITEP in Science conducted the Workshop of Programmes Development 2014. It was attended by 25 QITEP in Science staff, two P4TK IPA lecturers, two SEAMOLEC staff and one Australian volunteer and held in Lembang from 14 – 17 April. The Director of QITEP in Science, Prof Ismunandar, opened the workshop and Director of SEAMOLEC, Dr Gatot Hari Priowirjanto and Mrs Yeni Suciani from the General Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Education and Culture were the resource providers.
At the workshop, the training course experts and resource providers were determined, and the guide books and participant recruitment criteria were finalised. Six training, one monitoring and evaluation, and one international conference guide book were produced. These books will be used for all QITEP in Science programs through out the year.
All 2014 QITEP in Science programs are now completely prepared and able to meet the Centre’s objective, which is improving the quality of science education across the region.
