From August to September 2022, SEAQIS held face-to-face mentoring to schools for aligning programs made by schools as a follow-up to the Training of Trainers (ToT) subprogram for Climate Agent of Change Phase I in the Southeast Asia Climate Change Education Program (SEA-CEP). This activity was held to provide school team preparation in building a Climate School (SBI) through the implementation of SEA-CEP in their respective schools. The form of implementation integrating climate change issues into learning both intracurricular, extracurricular, and school projects.
The purpose of this assistance is to support participants in developing the Climate School (SBI) program and observing the physical environment as school material in implementing the characteristics of natural ecosystems, namely tropical forests, and topics for STEM learning based on issues from school conditions and around the school.
The officers in this observation activity are SEAQIS academic staff who facilitate the SEA-CEP ToT, including:/ (1) Dr. Elly Herliani, (2) Dr. Dinny Mardiana, (3) Meidina Rizkita, M.Si and (3) Dewi Mayang Salshabylla, S.Pd. The schools that have been observed include:
