SEAQIS became the host for the first Inter-Centre Collaboration Meeting in 2024 from 11 to 13 February at SEAQIS Office, Bandung. All Board of Directors along with several staff from each of SEAMEO Centres Indonesia (SCI) participated in this meeting. As the host, Mr Zuhe Safitra (Deputy Director for Administration) gave a welcoming speech on behalf of SEAQIS. After that, Prof. Vina Andriany (Director of SEAMEO CECCEP) officially opened the meeting.
There were several prominent topics discussed in this ICCM: (1) employment; (2) budgeting; (3) collaboration plan among seven SCI, Professional Development Centre for Educators of Maluku and East Nusa Tenggara Provinces, and Education Quality Assurance Centre of East Nusa Tenggara Province; (4) Four Years Development Plan and Governing Board Meeting; as well as (5) the seven SCI tournament.
During the meeting, Mr Hanjar Basuki (the intermediate expert for Human Resource Analyst in HR Bureau, Indonesian Ministry of Education) became the speaker for the session on employment system in seven SCI. Meanwhile, Mr Herdiana (The Head of Education Quality Assurance Centre of East Nusa Tenggara Province), Dr Wirman Kasmayadi (The Head of Professional Development Centre for Educators of East Nusa Tenggara Province), as well as Dr La Mansur (The Head of Professional Development Centre for Educators of Maluku Province) participated on the collaboration plan discussion with all SCI.
Through this meeting, all SCI members hoped that there will be more supportive collaboration among them as well as with the host institution of each SCI.
