On 16 February 2024, SEAQIS embarked the onboarding journey for MSIB (Magang dan Studi Independen Bersertifikat) Batch 6, which was conducted in hybrid mode via Zoom Meeting and onsite at SEAQIS office. This event was attended by Mr Zuhe Safitra as the Deputy Director for Administration at SEAQIS, Mr Juliansyah as the MSIB Batch 6 supervisor programme at SEAQIS, SEAQIS staff, 29 MSIB Batch 6 interns, one independent intern, and eight SEAQIS Padepokan interns.
In MSIB Batch 6, SEAQIS offered seven internship positions, including editorial assistant, graphic designer, video editor, science education content development, front-end developer, back-end developer, and UI/UX designer. The internship activities will be centred on three principal areas, which are institutional publications, application development, and the development of teaching materials and scientific articles. Interns also have the opportunity to collaborate with international interns, such as those from China and Taiwan, enabling them to enhance communication skills and form an essential global network for the future.
Mr Zuhe and Mr Juliansyah delivered warm welcomes to the participants in their brief speeches. Mr Rizwan, as the head of the HRGA division, also provided an insightful overview of the company’s profile, staff, and the tasks the interns will undertake during their internship. The interns were also allowed to introduce themselves during the session.
As part of the MSIB programme, SEAQIS attended the signing of the MSIB batch 6 partner agreement on 20 February 2024 in the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology at D Building, Central Jakarta. The event was opened by the Acting Director General of Higher Education from Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Prof. Ir. Nizam. On this occasion, he emphasised the importance of the MSIB programme in supporting curriculum adjustment to meet the competency requirements of human resources demanded by the industry and considered the active role of partners as crucial in providing relevance skills and knowledge to the demands of the workforce. As an internship partner, SEAQIS is committed to providing opportunities for interns to hone their critical, creative, and collaborative thinking skills in order to empower them in tackling real-world challenges.
