SEAQIS organised the 2025 Programme Evaluation Workshop from 4 to 9 December 2025 at Hotel Mercure Lampung. This activity formed part of the closing of SEAQIS programmes for 2025 and served as a forum for reflection and evaluation of programme implementation and organisational performance throughout the year.
Throughout 2025, SEAQIS has continued to strengthen the competencies of teachers and education personnel across Southeast Asia through a wide range of capacity-building initiatives, including training programmes, seminars, and the dissemination of information through printed publications, electronic media, and social media platforms. These efforts have focused on three key areas: STEM learning, with an emphasis on the integration of STEM learning with coding and artificial intelligence as well as STEM for early childhood education; climate change education; and computational thinking.
Through these various programmes and activities, SEAQIS has reached more than 11.000 teachers and education personnel from 11 countries across Southeast Asia, reflecting its ongoing commitment to supporting the development of quality science education in the region.
The evaluation workshop provided space for collective reflection and shared learning, enabling SEAQIS to identify key achievements as well as areas that require further strengthening. This process serves as an important foundation for enhancing programme planning and implementation in the coming period.
Through a systematic evaluation process grounded in shared learning, SEAQIS reaffirms its commitment to entering 2026 with programme planning that is more focused, relevant, and impactful, in line with the needs of stakeholders and regional priorities.
As part of the workshop series, SEAQIS also held the SEAQIS Employee Achievement Awards (SEA EAA) 2025 as a form of appreciation for staff contributions. One of the awards presented was Employee of the Year 2025, which was awarded to Octo Litadiputra Reinaldy in recognition of his dedication and contributions to SEAQIS’ programmes. The SEA EAA also served as a moment to strengthen togetherness and internal solidarity among SEAQIS staff.
Through this series of evaluation and appreciation activities, SEAQIS strengthens its sense of togetherness to continuously enhance organisational performance, reinforce internal synergy, and move forward collectively and sustainably in addressing future challenges and programme agendas.
