SEAQIS warmly welcomed the lecturers and undergraduate students from Biology Education Study Programme, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang on 16 January 2024. The intention of this meeting was they were eager to learn more about STEM learning through a workshop from SEAQIS’ experts, and both parties have agreed to collaborate more in the future.
Ms Lia Auliandari as the Head of Biology Education Study Programme was very grateful to be welcomed in SEAQIS and delivered her wish to upgrade the skills in STEM learning through this one-day workshop. Mr Reza Setiawan as the Deputy Director for Programme of SEAQIS also delivered his speech, gave a brief introduction of the Centre, as well as officially opened the workshop.
There were 45 undergraduate students along with several lecturers participated in the workshop on “Tips and Tricks for Designing STEM Learning Tools”. Mr Heri Setiadi as one of SEAQIS’ experts in Biology subject shared his knowledge and experiences in teaching Biology through the STEM lens. The participants were also excited to discuss their concerns with Mr Heri during the workshop.
