SEAMEO QITEP in Science Birthday Anniversary

On 13th July 2013, SEAMEO QITEP in Science celebrated its 4th anniversary. However, the celebration was held on Tuesday 16th July 2013. It was attended by the board of SEAMEO QITEP in Science, Staff members, and also the management of the host institution, CDETEP in Science, represented by the Head of General Affairs, Mr. Dedi Herawadi, the Head of Facilitation and Competency Development, Mr. Iwan Heryawan, the Head of Training Implementation Section, Ms. N. Hunaenah, and the Head of Program Section, Ms. Anggraeni Kusumadewi. Besides, the event was also attended by Prof. Bunyamin Maftuh of Indonesia University of Education, and Dr. Yeni Hendriani as the special guests.
The celebration was conducted in the fasting break time because the anniversary falls in the Ramadhan. The event was opened by the Director of the Centre, Prof. Dr. Ismunandar. He expressed his gratitude to the guests and all staff members and wished prosperous and successful years (to come) for the Centre. Mr. Dedi Herawadi, on behalf of the Director of CDETEP in Science, also delivered his wishes for the successfulness of the Centre. The session was closed by a spiritual anointing conveyed by Prof. Bunyamin Maftuh. The event was continued after Shalat Maghrib with cutting the initial piece of Nasi Tumpeng and Birthday cake by the Director while the attendants were singing a birthday song. The celebration ran in a family atmosphere, yet solemn and fun.
