Following the first workshop conducted on 14 – 17 June 2013, in Marbella Suites Hotel Bandung, SEAMEO QITEP in Language, SEAMEO QITEP in Mathemathics and SEAMEO QITEP in Science met again to jointly formulate the 2nd Five Year Development Plan 2015/2016 – 2019/2020 in the workshop on 23 to 25 September 2013 at the Goodway Hotel and Resort, Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia. The workshop aimed to present the draft 2nd Five Year Development Plan 2015/2016 – 2019/2020 to the GB members and stakeholders, as well as get feedback from them to furnishing. As the three centres have common targets, teachers and education personnels, formulating a joint plan deemed necessary to reinforce and complement the common goal to improve the quality of education in Southeast Asian countries.
Dr. Vitaya Jeradechakul, Director of the SEAMEO Secretariat, remarked and officially opened the workshop. The representative GB members from each SEAMEO member countries then presented their view on draft of 2nd Five Year Development Plan 2015/2016 – 2019/2020 formulated by three QITEP Centres, and provided valuable and important comments and inputs.
