Four QITEP in Science staff members, Ms Lidiya Sinulingga, Mr Gumyar Gustiana Gumilar, Mr Rizwan Darmawan and Ms Rahma Dian Hapsari, attended the training course on Financial Operations Manual (FOM) conducted at SEAMEO QITEP in Mathematics, Yogyakarta, from 1-14 June. Members from six other SEAMEO Centres also participated.
Mr Rawude Sukmongkol, Ms Paporn Poosri, and Ms Walaiporn Watcharawiroon were the keynote speakers at FOM from the SEAMEO Secretariat (SEAMES). Mr Rawude is the Finance Manager of the SEAMEO Secretariat.
FOM is part of SEAMES’ program that aims to improve participants’ knowledge of financial matters, give a basic explanation of budget reporting, share opinions and synchronise perspectives on SEAMES budget regulations. Next year’s FOM is likely to be conducted in Bangkok.
