Signing the MoA of PRAISE Project between SEAMEO QITEP in Science and AusAID

SEAMEO QITEP in Science once again created an innovation project in science education. Together with Science by Doing, the centre runs the Promoting Real Australian – Indonesian Science Education: A Collaboration Indonesia – Australia Pilot (PRAISE) Project with the full support of the Government of Australia. It was innitiated by signing the Memorandum of Agreement between the Director of the Centre, Prof. Dr. Ismunandar and the Counselor of Education and Research for Indonesia of the Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education, Marie Grealy on 14 March 2013.

The PRAISE Project intends to implement science-inquiry-based method which has been proves as an effective model in science teaching and learning process. The Project will involve 10 schools in western Bandung including 50 science teacher and 2800 students. The term of project implementation will be on March to December 2013.
