SEAMEO QITEP in Science participated in the International Seminar on Mathematics, Science and Computer Science Education hosted by the Faculty of Mathematics and Science Education (MSCEIS), Indonesia University of Education, on 19 October 2013. The theme of the seminar is ‘Turning Dreams into Reality: Current Trends in Mathematics, Science and Computer Science Education’. The aims of the seminar are to provide a forum where educators, researchers, and teachers can exchange pedagogical, educational, scientific, and epistemological ideas on mathematics, science, and computer science education to promote and stimulate interdisciplinary research in those areas and to initiate further development of the educational aspects of mathematics, science, and computer science education. The seminar also provides an exceptional opportunity for all participants to contribute to the world of mathematics, science, and computer science education. In the seminar the Director of QITEP in Science presented his remarks in the opening ceremony, and the Head Division of Partnership and Collaboration shared the collaboration Program with TOTAL E&P Indonesie on Intruducing Inquiry Base Science Education to the school in remote areas of East Kalimantan Province.
