The final round of PRAISE Project conducted by SEAMEO QITEP in Science in the collaboration with Australian Government was the Workshop on PRAISE Project Evaluation. The workshop was conducted on 29 to 30 November 2013 at Grand Hani Hotel, Jalan Raya Lembang Km. 12,1 No. 15 Kabupaten Bandung Barat.
The workshop was attended by fifty teachers of PRAISE Piloting Schools in Bandung, the representatives of Australian Academy of Science namely Dr. Kerrie Wilde and Mr. Jeff Byrne and the representatives of Australian Embassy in Indonesia namely Ms. Astrida Upitis, the Counsellor (Education & Science), and Ms. Claudina Milawati, the Deputy Director
Australian Education International. The workshop was officiated by the Director of QITEP in Science, Prof. Dr. Ismunandar.
The workshop activity was led by Dr. Kerrie Wilde and Mr. Jeff Byrne of Australian Academy of Science and the book writers of SEAMEO QITEP in Science. They evaluated the implementation of PRAISE Project and provided feedbacks and inputs for the finalization of draft of the student and teacher books.
Furthermore, with the assistance of Dr. Harry Firman, the lecturer from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (Indonesian University of Education) in Bandung, the teachers proposed class action researches during the implementation of the project to be more developed. It is expected that the researches could bring benefits to their teaching careers.
