From 8 to 12 September 2014, SEAMEO QITEP in Science conducted the Second Training on Implementation of Inquiry-Based Science Teaching Materials. The participants were from ten Bandung and West Bandung regency schools. This training was an advanced sequel after the ten schools applied the inquiry models they learned from the previous training conducted in August 2014 in the respective schools.
The main activities carried out in this training were evaluating the implementation of inquiry-based science learning levels of Discovery Learning, Interactive Demonstration, Lesson, and Inquiry Laboratory, recognizing two levels of inquiry learning advanced stages, Hyphothetical Inquiry and Real World Application, and developing and implementing inquiry-based learning devices on the Hyphothetical Inquiry and Real World Application levels.
After training, participants are expected to implement the learning materials to their schools with the supervision of SEAMEO QITEP in Science. The teachers will be invited again to participate in the last phase of the training, which will comprise final report compilation.
