SEAQIS participated in the National Consultative Council on Education and Culture (RNPK) 2018 held from 5 to 8 February 2018 by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia. The RNPK 2018, conducted at the Training and Education Centre of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Sawangan, Depok, West Java, was opened with opening remarks and technical direction for the participants by the Minister of Education and Culture of Indonesia, Dr H Muhadjir Effendy, MAP. The event was then officially opened by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir H Joko Widodo who also visited the exhibition booths of education and culture where SEAQIS participated in.
While there was the President at the first day, there was Cak Lontong on the second day. He amused the participants by giving motivation and inspiration. The participants could also meet the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr H M Jusuf Kalla that was present at the 3rd day of the RNPK 2018 to visit the exhibition booths and officially closed the event.
For the exhibition, SEAQIS had a simple hologram reflector and simple projector presented by Mr Arif Darmadiansyah, an alumnus of Research Grant, along with various SEAQIS’ products brought by the staff, Ms Lintang Ratri Prastika and Girindra Adyapradana. Meanwhile, Dr Indrawati, Dr Indarjani, and Ms Lili Indarti represented SEAQIS to attend the coordination meeting. The meeting of RNPK 2018 having “Together Building Education and Culture which is Equal, Equitable and Qualified” as its theme resulted 22 recommendations from five strategic issues of education and culture.
