SEAMEO QITEP in Science had the opportunity to participate in GESS (Global Educational Supplies and Solutions) Asia, an event of prominent educational sector exhibition and conference in Southeast Asia which was conducted from 14 to 16 September 2022 at JCC (Jakarta Convention Center). The conference was held with an open-parallel system at three points in the stage according to the theme, which were EDTECH in Action Stage; Future Learning Stage; and Innovation Stage.
The event was attended by various institutions and industries in education and non-education fields—both from Asian and non-Asian countries as partners—which open up the opportunities to meet more than 6,000 professionals, including the decision makers and stakeholders. SEAMEO Centres in Indonesia also participated in this notable event, which were SEAMOLEC, SEAMEO BIOTROP, SEAMEO QITEP in Language, SEAMEO RECFON, and SEAQIS. In the near future, GESS also plans to hold a similar event in Dubai.
