In order to improve the national education quality, SEAQIS along with the Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel (Ditjen GTK) from Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, held a joint meeting from 11 to 13 April 2023 to prepare modules.
The meeting was attended by Mr Putra Asga Elevri as the Director of Secondary Education and Special Education Teachers (Dikmensus); Mr Saiful Bari as the Head of the Dikmensus Learning Group; Dr Yogi Anggraena as the Curriculum Development, Curriculum Centre, and Books Coordinator; Mr Zulfikri Anas as the Head of Curriculum and Learning Centre for Curriculum Standards and Education Assessment; as well as Prof Dr Paed Wahyu Sopandi as a lecturer of the Postgraduate School in Elementary Education Study Programme.
In the meeting, Mr Putra Asga Elevri said that the team found out that the creativity on P5 (Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila) theme had not appeared nor worked for the teacher. Based on this finding, SEAQIS wishes to promote creativity improvements in the P5 module.
As the director of SEAQIS, Dr Indrawati explained the leading programmes owned by SEAQIS, namely STEM Learning, Climate Change Education, IBSE (Inquiry-Based Science Education), and CT (Computational Thinking). It is hoped that these programmes can be used as the materials to support the creation of the P5 module.
