In order to increase its performance in 2024, all SEAQIS members conducted several meetings on 15, 22, and 24 January 2024 at SEAQIS office. Mr Reza Setiawan (Deputy Director for Programme) and Mr Zuhe Safitra (Deputy Director for Administration) led the first day of meetings. The big plan for this year related to the three regional training, namely Science Classroom Supervision (SCS), Environmental Education for Sustainable Development (EESD), as well as Earth and Space Science (ESS), was decided to be simultaneously conducted onsite in Bandung.
Each division, starting from Research and Development to Partnership and Publication, presented the programmes that would be running in 2024 on the second day of the meetings. Several In-Country training—both inside and outside Indonesia—will also be held during 2024, for instance in Maluku, Banten, Riau, East Nusa Tenggara, Kota Kinabalu, Timor Leste, and many more.
On the last day of meetings, the Research and Development as well as Programme Divisions delivered the Terms of Reference (ToR) of each programme. Several suggestions were given in order to develop both the earliest and latest SEAQIS’ programmes. Hopefully, this meeting will embark on a fruitful journey for SEAQIS in 2024.
