SEAQIS once more collaborated with the Indonesian Overseas Alumni (IOA) conducting a training course for teachers in Dieng Plateau. This time, SEAQIS conducted online training from 24 to 27 August 2020, focusing on how to use several applications to be used in an online class. The participants of the training were 38 teachers from Wonosobo Regency and Banjarnegara Regency, divided into two classes based on their sub-district, respectively. The facilitators of this training were Mr Zuhe Safitra, Ms Adella Anfidina Putri, Mr Rizwan Darmawan and Ms Lintang Ratri Prastika.
During the training, the participants explored applications used usually in online class such as Google Classroom, Google Form, and Google Meet. These applications were in the training since they can be accessed freely and user friendly. Besides, they are integrated one another so that it makes them very easy to be used.
The first day, participants learned about Google Meet: how to prepare an instant meeting room, how to schedule a meeting, and also how to use each feature. On the second day, participants learned about Google Classroom, Google Form, and Online Learning Design. On the last day, participants, in a group, presented their learning design and online class in Google Classroom. It is hoped that through this learning, the participants gained insight and knowledge to conduct online class, particularly in this pandemic period.
