The internal members of SEAQIS have virtually conducted a workshop of the 13th GBM Working Papers on 27 April 2022. Some of the members who joined this workshop are Dr Indrawati, Mr Zuhe Safitra, Mr Reza Setiawan, Dr Dedi Herawadi, Dr Elly Herliani, Dr Poppy Kamalia Devi, Mr Lukman Nulhakim, Mr Dian Purnama, Ms Tika Karlina, Mr Septian Karyana, Ms Meidina Rizkita, and Mr Rizwan Darmawan.
Dr Indrawati as the Director of SEAQIS gave an opening remark to evaluate the previous Working Paper and GBM implementation in order to prepare and construct better programmes for next year. She expected that the Working Paper drafts will have been done around June, and there would be a consultative meeting with the GB members besides the main schedule. Mr Zuhe Safitra, the Deputy Director of Administration in SEAQIS, also stated that GBM is one of the biggest events in SEAQIS to propose SEAQIS programmes for next year
In this workshop, SEAQIS members discussed about: (1) timeline for the 13th GBM preparation; (2) determination of the Working Papers topic; (3) determination of Working Papers’ writers; and (4) the guidelines in organising Working Papers. There was also a sharing session with Mr Wahyudi, the Deputy Director (Programme and Development) of SEAMEO Secretariat, regarding the Guidelines for Organising an Effective Governing Board Meeting. Mr Wahyudi explained about the general information regarding GBM, and informed that all Centres could consult their problems to the GB members.
