As a follow-up to the Cooperation Agreement that has been agreed by SEAQIS and the Education and Culture Office of Ogan Ilir Regency, from Wednesday to Thursday, 28-30 September 2022, a training for Middle School Science Laboratory Personnel in Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province has been conducted.
This training was organized by the Junior High School Division of the Education and Culture Office of Ogan Ilir Regency. SEAQIS was invited as the resource persons in the training.
A total of 65 science teachers from state junior high schools throughout Ogan Ilir Regency were present as participants at the Emilia Hotel Palembang, where the training took place. This training is carried out with the aim of increasing the understanding and skills of science teachers, who are assigned as laboratory personnel, how to optimally manage and utilize science laboratories in the post-pandemic era of Covid-19.
This training was officially opened by the Head of the Education and Culture Office of Ogan Ilir Regency, Mr. Sayadi, S.Pd. The SEAQIS personnel assigned to be resource persons in this training are Mr. Heri Setiadi and Mrs. Lintang Ratri Prastika.
During the 3 days of training, participants received materials and practices related to work safety in the laboratory, laboratory arrangement and administration, use of laboratory facilities, and maintenance of laboratory facilities.
The training was running well, and it will hopefully be the initiation of a Cooperation program that can continue for the advancement of education and learning in Ogan Ilir Regency.
